A friend, psychotherapist and fellow Reiki practitioner was seeking a new space to work with clients, which led me to create 'The Octave Space'. It was a physical space (a converted garage), designed for practitioners of various therapeutic modalities to rent and work from. It was ideal for 1:1 sessions. Yoga, sound healing, psychotherapy and reiki took place here. I chose the name 'Octave Space' as the practitioners were all committed to deeply listening to others, whatever their healing approach. As well as this I had returned to playing the piano that year, which had a powerfully positive effect during my own healing journey.
