Shadow Catcher

2011 | Sculpture / Performance

This sculptural performance was created as part of a multi-media presentation I did at The School of Psychotherapy and Counselling, Regent's University.

I explored what Carl Gustav Jung coined as the 'shadow' to describe the hidden, repressed and disowned aspects of the human psyche that are not acknowledged consciously (by the individual and the collective). The presentation explored both the destructive and creative potential of 'the shadow'.
